Yesterday Tornados ripped through the state of Oklahomawhere I live. Sirens went off like crazy and the meteorologist were
so busy trying to keep everyone informed that they barely had
enough time to report a tornado when another one popped up.
We were warned way ahead of time that May 24th would be
an awful day for tornadoes. The Governor asked everyone to
go home early so they would not be caught in the tornadoes
at rush hour. The plan worked and lives were saved.
Here in our town, there came an erie blackness follow by
total silence, the sirens were going off tell us to take cover.
All of the sudden the winds picked up and the rains followed
suit...straight line winds. Lucky for us our neighborhood was
spared a tornado, but on the other side of town a couple of
houses weren't so lucky.
No one was hurt in our town, our daughter down in Norman
was also spared. Others weren't so lucky, and for them
we say a prayer.
Another day, another tomorrow...another Tornado.
That's Life in Tornado Alley!

Thank heavens everyone came out of it safe and sound! (including my family-eek!)
We actually had the sirens go off up here the next day. Craziness!
