A piece of Art that I thought was great!

Boulder Bound!

On Monday we rented a car and headed to Boulder.

Boulder is a place within it's self.

A lot of free spirits and free thinking.

First thing we had to do was EAT.

Of course we had to eat at the

CHEESECAKE FACTORY.

After eating pasta, my daughter and husband

shared a peanut butter cup cheesecake.

My daughter was in HEAVEN,

Me, I was content to watch them pig out. ugh!

I loved watching the street players.

Just about anywhere you would go in the downtown

area, you would see the street players.

Very nice and soothing to listen too.

Of course there were the street performers as well.

This guy juggled on a latter and unicycle.

Very intertaining. Of course I liked to

go in the shops and look around!

After a nice afternoon of hanging out in Boulder

it was time to say good-bye. We were tired and

ready to go back to the hotel room.

Tomorrow was another adventure!

and the saga continues

so we left Burlington, Colorado with the

engine light on...and we coasted into this tiny

little town 110 miles from Denver. Yes I mean coasted!

Yes our transmission was GONE! We were not going ANYWHERE!

We were stuck in this small little town, with one gas station

and that was it. nothing else. What to do?

After we called a tow truck. We finally arrived in

Aurora, Colorado at 10:30 Saturday night.

We weren't going to Utah. We weren't going

Anywhere.

Until we got a rental...:)

It all started with....

We left on our vacation to Utah last Saturday.

Everything was going great. We stopped in Burlington, Co

to see the Kit Carson Carousel

I have to admit it was pretty interesting.

I loved seeing all the different animals it had to offer.

The paintings were wonderful to look at.
So creative!

Brought me back to younger, earlier times of my life

Yes everything was going just fine, until we got back to the car

and noticed the engine light was on......

and motifs to paint" at the century's end

of red, of pink, of white fleshy flowers
