Technology

My dang computer is on the blink

at home and it is driving me NUTS!

I'll be glad when my son-in-law can fix it!

For now, I'll enjoy reading everyone's post.

The world we live in

What kind of world do we live in

when we can't even feel safe at our

workplace. My best friend since high school

was stabbed yesterday at the hospital she works

at in Texas. her co-worker was also stabbed 

but did not make it. Life started out so wonderful

for these two nurses yesterday morning and then

their world came crashing down. My heart hurts

for her and the family of her co-worker. Everytime

Karen closes her eyes she can see the events play in

her mind over and over again and she thinks to herself

what could I have done differently. 

Please hug your family a little tighter and give

thanks for them this Thanksgiving holiday.

And while your at it, call up a friend and let them

know how blessed you are to have them in your life.

I almost lost my best friend yesterday and that

would have devastated me.

Daddy's little girl

I love this picture of my son-in-law

and granddaughter.

He was so afraid to have a daughter

because he comes from a family of boys.

He wasn't sure what to do with a little girl.

My husband has a great relationship with our daughters,

so he asked him for advice.

She adores her daddy. This picture

caught the essence of their relationship together.

Picking Grapes

Started the day off  helping friends pick their grapes.

I've never done this before so it was quite interesting.

They make Chardonnay wine.  I don't drink wine but

it was fun hanging out with friends and enjoying a cool

crisp morning in August.
