My Bluebird of Happiness

.....My memories of me and you
Shall never end,
Because I know, that no matter where I go,
My blue bird of happiness will always
Show me the way back
To where we last left track of each other.

Now I truly feel that we are best friends for real.
Seems like we'll be friends forever,
If we are not
Then I will always keep my most prized treasures.
Because you were one of my bestest friends.
Thank you, my friend
For my blue bird of happiness

You and Me

Remember when it was just you and me?
no worries, no cares just the two of us.
Sometimes I wish for those days,
don't get me wrong, I love our children
dearly. But, sometimes, just somtimes
I long for the days of just
You and Me!

He Wore a Question Mark

He Wore A Question Mark - by anonymous

he wore a question mark for tail,
an overcoat of gray,
he sat up straight to eat a nut .
he liked to tease and platy,
and if we ran around his tree,
he went the other way.

Calm after the Storm

Another round of Storms tonight.
It is getting very tiring.
My son was too close to the tornadoes
this time around. He was trying to get
home and two tornadoes touched down
in front of him.
God Bless the people of Oklahoma!

Duck Season

 I love Mallard ducks
I love the teal shiny head of the male
and the rich brown of the female.

This little guy kept following me around.
My daughter was feeding the ducks and
he thought I had something for him. Since he was
so close I got on my knees and took this picture.

Safe and Sound

My Daughter-in-Law works at a bank in Moore, Oklahoma.
Yesterday we had the scare of our lives when the tornado came through.
Both my Son and Daughter live in Norman and their spouses work
in Moore. For hours we didn't hear from either one. My Son-in-Law
showed up first then finally 4 hours later my DIL. The tornado missed
her by one street. She took shelter in the banks vault until they knew it was
safe to come out. Her bank was on the direct path of the tornado and
miraculously the tornado skipped the bank. These are pictures she took
as she was trying to make her way home. What was normally a 20 minute ride
took her 3 1/2 hours.
